Where do I start? If you're looking for an honest used car dealer with well-presented, properly prepared cars and good old-fashioned customer service, then Carscene is the place to go. I genuinely cannot fault the team. From the first day I enquired about the car, they answered every question, kept me updated throughout the preparation process, and handed over a beautifully prepared vehicle with all the paperwork taken care of. I've been in the motor trade for over 30 years, both in sales and as a mechanic, so I've seen the industry from all angles. Sadly, many dealers lose interest once they've got your money. Carscene are the complete opposite. They are a proper, honest, customer-focused dealership. Because of the distance involved and my work commitments, Kevin, the owner, even opened up on a Sunday when they would normally be closed so I could view and test-drive the car. There was absolutely no pressure, no sales pitch, and no rushing me. I was left to look around in my own time, offered a test drive, and after that, a deal was done. A week later I collected the car. It was spotless, had a fresh advisory-free MOT, had been serviced, and even had the air conditioning re-gassed. We set off delighted and decided to make a road trip of it around the Broads and the Norfolk coast. Once we got onto faster roads, I noticed a slight clutch slip. It wasn't apparent on the test drive due to the urban roads, and this is where a dealer either makes or breaks their reputation. A few messages to Kevin and the response was immediate. He apologised, arranged for one of the team to contact me, took the car back in without any fuss, and even provided a courtesy car while the issue is being resolved. What more can you ask for? Yes, it's a long journey for me to return and collect the car, but that's a small price to pay when the dealer genuinely wants to put things right. It's a used car, not a brand-new one, and sometimes issues happen. What matters is how they're dealt with, and Kevin and the team have been excellent from start to finish. I'm now looking forward to collecting what I'm sure will be a perfect driving car. And when it's time to replace my partner's car next year, Carscene will be the first place I look. So, my honest review? Ignore the negative comments and buy with confidence from Carscene. They are a rare example of how a used car dealership should operate. Recently bought a car from Car Scene - Ross was the salesman. Very happy with the process, came with full MOT and service. Shortly after the purchase the car developed a fault. Car Scene sorted it and we are very happy with the after sales service we received..

Quite honestly I don’t know where to begin ! The service we received from Luke was tip top from beginning to end. We cannot fault either him or Carscene. He was able to tell us all we needed to know about the car we were interested in for our son, was very knowledgeable and helpful on the test drive making sure that we had sufficient time and exposure to good roads to make an informed decision on the performance of the car, noting any faults that may have been apparent. Happily there were none ! Within a few days the car was ready for collection and apart from a full service we were impressed that they put a full years MOT in even though it was only 5 months into the year, this included any work needed for advisories.
My son has now driven the car lots of times and is very happy with it, it drives very well and he is delighted with it.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use Carscene again and recommend them to family and friends. It would be a privilege to put more business their way.

Responsive to questions. Prompt and effective arrangement for delivery to the other side of the country. Helpful staff and good quality vehicle at the right price. It was nice to do business with a firm who understood what was needed and provided a really good service.

I cannot fault the service or the company, a first class experience with caring personnel. We were very impressed with the car we bought for our son, it was in super condition and he’s driven it since so much ! It’s absolutely super. With only 5 months into the year we didn’t expect a fresh MOT but this was carried out, any advisories done with an annual service. I would not hesitate to recommend Carscene to friends and family, in fact I’m going to ask them to look out for a car for myself. It is lovely in this day and age to buy a car and enjoy every single aspect, no stress, no badgering, no pressure to buy extras that we didn’t want. My husband was a motor technician and this was welcomed, rather than grudgingly accepted, First class experience.
